Joseph Signs at Maine

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. - Feb. 5 - Zedric Joseph, Erie Community College's all-conference running back, has signed a National Letter-of-Intent to play football in the 2011 season with the University of Maine.
Joseph earned first-team All-NEFC honors at tailback after leading ECC with 497 rushing yards. He led the NEFC with 965 all-purpose yards (137.9 per game). Joseph recorded back-to-back-back 100+-yard rushing games. He started the streak with 135 rushing yards, highlighted by a 81-yard touchdown, against Lackawanna and then added 168 rushing yards against Dean as he earned two-straight NEFC Offensive Player of the Week honors. Joseph then ran for 107 yards, including a 58-yard touchdown, against Milford.
As a freshman, Joseph Returned 18 kickoffs for 485 yards to earn second-team All-NEFC honors as return specialist. He also ran for 192 yards and three touchdowns with a season-long run of 72 yards for a touchdown against Milford Academy. He caught two passes for 72 yards and a touchdown against Hudson Valley CC.
Joseph is the fourth member of the 2010 Kats to sign a NLI.
