Creenan Powers Kats to 12-2 Win

ST. PETERSBURG – March 11 – The Erie Community College baseball team recorded its second-straight win of the 2012 season by picking up a 12-2 victory over the Ontario Terriers Sunday.
 
The Kats scored runs in five of the six innings as the game was called due to a run rule. Sophomore Matt Creenan (Williamsville, N.Y./Clarence) drove in four runs on three hits, including a triple. Creenan had a two-run single in the first and drove in runs in the second and fourth innings. Sophomore Jesse Zellner (Tonawanda, N.Y./Tonawanda) had two hits, including a double, and a RBI.
 
Sophomore Adam Grace (Niagara Falls, N.Y./Niagara Falls) had two hits and drove in two runs while sophomore Rich Corrente (Chatham, Ont./ESPC) struck out six and allowed four hits to record a complete game win.

The Kats will play Schenectady Community College in a doubleheader Monday.
