Jamestown CC Downs ECC in WNYAC Tournament

JAMESTOWN, N.Y. (Sept. 29) - The Erie Community College baseball team saw its fall season come to a close Wednesday with a 7-5 loss to Jamestown Community College in the first round of the Western New York Athletic Conference tournament.

The Kats, who finished the fall 5-8, had a 3-0 lead after three innings before JCC scored three runs in the fourth and three more in the fifth. ECC added runs in the seventh and eighth innings but was unable to regain the lead.

TJ Singh (Toronto) had two hits, including a RBI double. Jesse Zellner (Tonawanda) took the loss, allowing four hits and striking out seven in five innings. ECC committed four errors in the loss. At the plate, Zeller added two hits and an RBI double.
