Two Kats Named to All-WNYAC Baseball's First Team

WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. - Oct. 19 - Two members of the Erie Community College baseball team were named first-team selections to the All-Western New York Athletic Conference team today, announced by the league. Freshman Mike D'Eletto (Walworth, N.Y./Wayne Central) was chosen as an infielder and sophomore Brian Barry (Derby, N.Y./Lake Shore) was picked as an outfielder.

ECC freshman pitcher AJ Alessi (New Port Richey, Fla./River Ridge) and freshman catcher Zachary Hayes (Orchard Park, N.Y./Bishop Timon-St. Jude) were second-team selections while freshman Mike Ryerson (Sandusky, Ohio/Perkins was an honorable mention choice.

The Kats posted an 8-5 overall record in the WNYAC season and were the tournament runners-up.
