CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. - Jan. 16 - Freshman forward Joshua Jaszcz (Cheektowaga, N.Y./West Seneca East) erupted for four goals and an assist as the Erie Community College hockey team recorded a 7-4 win over Niagara (ACHA) Monday night at the Cheektowaga Rec Center.

With the Kats holding the 5-4 lead, sophomore goaltender Thomas Sciortino (Amherst, N.Y.) made a save on a mini-breakaway situation. Following the save, Kifner gave the Kats a two-goal edge after converting a pass from Christopher Kendall (Cheektowaga, N.Y.) in the slot.

Jaszcz scored his fourth goal with 1:48 to play.

ECC, now 14-3, plays Broome Community College at 3:20 p.m. Saturday at the Cheektowaga Rec Center.
