Mueller's Four Goals Lead Kats to Win

CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. – Dec. 1 – The Erie Community College hockey team scored the first five goals of game and then closed the game with eight more as the Kats recorded a 13-1 win over the County College of Morris Saturday afternoon at the Cheektowaga Rec Center.

ECC sophomore forward Eric Mueller (Hamburg, N.Y./Canisius) led the team with four goals and an assist. Freshman forward Alexander Stahl (Latrobe, Pa./Greater Latrobe) and sophomore forward Joshua Jaszcz (Cheektowaga, N.Y./West Seneca East) each added a pair of goals.

CCM committed 13 penalties in the contest.

Freshman forward Matt Malley (North Tonawanda, N.Y.) gave the Kats a 3-0 lead with a short-handed goal late in the first period.

ECC improved to 5-3 and will play CCM again at noon Sunday at the Cheektowaga Rec Center.
