Stachura-Lee Leads Kats

ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Dec. 28 – The Erie Community College women’s bowling team finished 15th at the 18th annual Roto Grip Keystone Quaker Classic held at Playdrome Rose Bowl. The Kats recorded a two-day total of 5,316. ECC men’s team was 27th with a two-day total of 8,138. The men's team was 33rd after Tuesday's action but had a strong performance in Baker games.

After Tuesday’s action, freshman Samantha Stachura-Lee (Lockport, N.Y./Lockport) was 17th with 963 after five games while sophomore Danielle Dolegla (Lancaster, N.Y./Lancaster) was 19th at 960. Morgan Anderson (Orchard Park, N.Y./Tapestry Charter) was 42nd at 823 while Mercedes Jimerson (Salamanca, N.Y./Salamanca) was 67th at 634. On the men's side, Devon Miller (Dundee, N.Y./Dundee) was 64th at 981 while Derek Szymkowiak (Eden, N.Y./Eden) ws 89th at 937. Eric Alajko (Depew, N.Y./Depew) was 121st at 880 while Aaron Buziak (Hamburg, N.Y./Frontier) was 149th at 830. Chris Case (Dundee, N.Y./Dundee) was 160th at 785.

The Kats move to AMF Parkway Lanes for the Nitttany Lion Kegler Classic held Thursday and Friday. Five team games are rolled the first day and Baker games follow on day two.
