Kats Suffer 2-1 Loss to Bryant & Stratton

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Sept. 11 - Despite the sixth goal of the season by sophomore forward Pablo Ordonez (Cheektowaga, N.Y./Cheektowaga), the Erie Community College men's soccer team dropped a 2-1 decision Sunday to Bryant & Stratton College in Region III action.

The Kats, now 2-2, took a 1-0 lead when Ordonez scored in the 25th minute. Ordonez entered the game ranked tied for third in NJCAA Division III in goals scored.

A defensive breakdown allowed Bryant & Stratton, a NJCAA Division I program, to tie the game in the 67th minute. The Bobcats scored the decisive goal in the 82nd minute.

Freshman goalkeeper Rich Bund made 14 saves.

ECC plays Monroe Community College in Rochester, N.Y., Wednesday at 5 p.m.
