Former Kat Wins PBA Event

On January 30, 2011, former Erie Community College All-America bowler Ryan Ciminelli won his first Lumber Liquidators PBA Tour title. Ciminelli, the 2007 NJCAA all-event champion and 2005 NJCAA individual and all-events champion, rolled a 237 in the championship game to win the Earl Anthony Memorial Classic in Dublin, Calif.
The left-handed Ciminelli won two other individual tournaments in 2005 and helped the Kats win the 2007 NJCAA team championship. Ciminelli was named the National Collegiate Coaches Association Bowling Rookie of the Year in 2005.
"Ryan has always had the talent and now has shown that he has mastered the mental portion of the game as well," ECC coach Ken Duke said. "He is one of the best  players we have had at Erie."

Ciminelli will next compete in the USBC Masters which start Monday in Reno, Nev.
