Lacrosse beats Niagara

The Erie Community College (6-3) lacrosse team continued to add to its record breaking season with a 12-4 win over Niagara County Community College (0-5) Tuesday afternoon in Orchard Park.

Sophomore Laura Nerber, who leads all Region III players in scoring this season with 39 goals and 12 assists, had four goals and an assist for Erie. Freshman Sarah Kirchberger had four goals and three assists and freshman Kesley McKeown finished with a goal and four assists. Alyssa Aschcroft, Jessica Flowers and Jennifer Buchnowski also scored for the Kats.

Freshman goaltender Jessica Czamara stopped 11 of the 15 shots she faced in net.
