Patrone Powers Kats to 15-5 Win

SANBORN, N.Y. - April 8 - The ninth-ranked Erie Community College women's lacrosse team got a total of 10 goals from freshmen Jacquelyn Hill (Lancaster, N.Y./Lancaster) and Amanda Patrone (Hamburg, N.Y./Hamburg) as the Kats recorded a 15-5 win over Niagara County CC.

Patrone scored six goals and added three assists while Hill netted four goals and picked up one assist. Sophomore Destiny Sampson (Irving, N.Y./Gowanda) added three goals and three assists while freshman Christine Doherty (Lancaster, N.Y./Lancaster) scored a goal and recorded a team-high five assists. Freshman goalkeeper Brooklyn Schilling (Lancaster, N.Y./Lancaster) made 15 saves for the win.

ECC, now 3-2, will play second-ranked Onondaga CC at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Jim Ball Stadium.
