Three members of the Erie Community College softball team received All-Western New York Athletic Conference accolades for their performances during the 2010 season.
Sophomore first baseman Ashley Coomber (Amherst/Williamsville South High School), freshman outfielder Courtney Bonvissuto (Dunkirk/Dunkirk High School) and freshman shortstop Alyssa Taborn (Buffalo/CSAT) were each named to the league’s Second Team.
Coomber played in just 18 games prior to suffering a season ending injury. She did hit .347 (17-for-49) and stole 18 bases. Coomber had a .508 on base percentage. Bonvissuto hit .322 (28-for-87) and stole 18 bases. Taborn hit .381 (32-for-84) with 10 doubles and 19 RBI.
Erie finished the 2010 campaign with a 13-18 record.
