No. 2 Onondaga CC downs Kats

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. - April 26 - Onondaga CC, the nation's second-ranked team, scored 18 unanswered goals in the first half and handed the Erie Community College women's lacrosse team a 21-4 loss Friday afternoon at Jim Ball Stadium. OCC is now 11-1.

The Kats, now 5-5, were led by freshman Amanda Patrone (Hamburg, N.Y./Hamburg) as she recorded two goals. Freshman Jacquelyn Hill (Lancaster, N.Y./Lancaster) scored a goal and added two assists. Freshman Brooklynn Schilling (Lancaster, N.Y./Lancaster) made 15 saves. Freshman Danielle Lane (East Aurora, N.Y./West Seneca East) and sophomore Gabrielle Stribing (Lancaster, N.Y./Lancaster) were each credited with assists.

The Kats will close the regular season against Jefferson CC at 1 p.m. Sunday in Watertown, N.Y.
