Erie Community College sophomore Alexandra Hart has been named First-Team All-Region after the completion of one of the finest seasons in Lady Kats history.
Hart ended the season averaging 22.1 points per game, the second-best in school history to Felice Mann who averaged 30.3 (1993-1995). Her average is third-best in the country.
Hart also averaged 4.6 assists per game, placing her 20th in the country in that category.
Also receiving honorable-mention All-Region status were Melissa Schultz and Shavonne Garner.
Schultz ended the season as the team’s third-leading scorer (8.9 ppg.) and leading rebounder at 9.3 rebounds per game in 29 games played.
Shavonne Garner was second on the team in scoring at 10.6 points and the second-leading rebounder at 9.2.
Erie ended their season with a 12-17 record and a semi-final loss in the Region III tournament to Region III champion Jamestown Community College. It is the second-straight season the team has lost in the final four.
