WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. – May 11 - The Erie Community College softball team had four players named to the All-Western New York Athletic Conference team, announced today by the league. The Kats’ catcher Deanna King (Kenmore, N.Y./Kenmore West), infielder Korin Frantz (Grand Island, N.Y./Grand Island), outfielder Cayla Galus (Tonawanda, N.Y./Tonawanda), utility/designated hitter Hannah Foster (Collins, N.Y./Springville) were all second-team selections.
King hit .258 on the season, scoring 17 runs and drove in 10. Frantz hit .363 and posted team-leading totals of two home runs and seven doubles. Galus hit .368 and scored a team-high 20 runs. Foster was 8-6 as a pitcher and hit a team-high .375 with 18 runs batted in.
ECC finished the season 13-13.
