The Western New York Athletic Conference released their 2013 All-Conference teams and the Erie Community College Kats found three of their players on the list.
On the first team was pitcher Austin Spindler along with Josh Brosius and Brett Bauth. Spindler, pitched in five games for the Kats and totaled 19 innings pitched. He finished the year with two wins and one save along with a 0.94 ERA. He struck out 12 batters while only walking five.
Brosius played in nine games for the Kats and compiled nine hits in 23 at-bats finishing with a .391 batting average and a .576 on base percentage. He also knocked in five RBI and scored three runs. Finally, Bauth had 54 plate appearances in 11 games and finished with a .538 batting average and a .667 on-base percentage. He knocked in seven rbi and scored 11 runs.
Lastly, the Kats had one player on the honorable mention team, catcher Tyler Hoffhines. He finished the season with a .233 batting average and a .351 on base percentage. Hoffhines had six RBI during the season and finished with five runs.
The Kats will resume their baseball season in the spring.
