Men's soccer plays to scoreless tie against Onondaga CC

Thursday, October 10, 2013

BUFFALO, NY - The Erie Community College men's soccer team hosted Onondaga CC Wednesday and were kept in the dark as they played to a 0-0 tie. They weren't able to find the back on the net, but also weren't able to play the second overtime due to darkness.

The Kats gave a strong effort on both sides of the ball. On offense, they totaled eight shots with Mark Tellgren (Springville, NY / Springville) recording two shots along with Dan Emma (Lancaster, NY / Lancaster) who also tallied two shots.

On defense, the Kats were aggressive and prevented any major opportunities for Onondaga. Any chances that did occur were stopped by Brandon Hackbarth (Hamburg, NY / St. Francis) who finished the night with 12 saves.

The Kats will travel to Alfred, NY to play Alfred State at 1 p.m.
