Erie Community College's Telecommunications Technology Department will be holding an information session for the Cisco Networking Academy from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 25th, 2012 in Room 5112, Building 5, at the college's South Campus, 4041 Southwestern Blvd., Orchard Park, NY.
Launched in 2002, the Cisco Networking Academy Program offers evening classes designed for working adults who want to learn how to design, build and maintain local and wide-area networks. Participants will be prepared for networking and IT related jobs in the public and private sectors, and to continue their education in telecommunications, engineering, computer science and related fields.
The program prepares individuals for industry-standard certifications such as the Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician, Cisco Certified Network Associates, Cisco Certified Network Professional, Cisco Certified Network Security and CompTIA A+.
