Erie Community College Principal Counselor Colleen Hannen was one of 274 individuals honored June 14, 2010 by State University of New York Chancellor Nancy L. Zimpher with the 2009-10 Chancellor’s Award for Excellence.
Hannen, a resident of West Seneca, was awarded the SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Professional Service.
The Chancellor's Awards for Excellence are system-level honors conferred to acknowledge and provide recognition for consistently superior professional achievement and to encourage the ongoing pursuit of excellence.
"As SUNY campuses celebrate the achievements of students and faculty for this academic year, it is my pleasure to honor the recipients of this year's Chancellor's Award for Excellence," Zimpher said. "Each of this year’s recipients has demonstrated extraordinary dedication to their students and an exceptional commitment to excellence. Congratulations to all of this year's honorees."

Each honoree receives a certificate and a Chancellor’s Excellence Medallion.
