Hill Leads Kats over NCCC, 13-7

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. - April 17 - Freshman Jacquelyn Hill (Lancaster, N.Y./Lancaster) scored a team-high four goals to lead the Erie Community College women's lacrosse team to a 13-7 win over Niagara County CC Wednesday afternoon at Jim Ball Stadium.

Sophomores Destiny Sampson (Irving, N.Y./Gowanda), Gabrielle Stribing (Lancaster, N.Y./Lancaster) and Emery Fleck (Lancaster, N.Y./Lancaster) each scored two goals for ECC as did freshman Amanda Patrone (Hamburg, N.Y./Hamburg).

The Kats opened a 7-1 lead in the first half on their way to improving to 4-3 overall. Freshman Brooklynn Schilling (Lancaster, N.Y./Lancaster) made 11 saves.

ECC will play Broome CC at 1 p.m. Saturday in Region III action at Jim Ball Stadium.
