The WNY Career Pathways Consortium (WNYCP) works with area high schools, BOCES, and community colleges to assist with the delivery of and promote Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs. CTE focuses on delivering industry based education to students through applied learning. CTE programs are offered in WNY through area BOCES, Buffalo Public Schools, and in component school districts in all five counties. In the WNY region the Career Pathways Consortium focuses on programs in Automotive Technology, Advanced Manufacturing/Engineering, Information Technology, Business, and Health Science. Through this Consortium, various activities are funded throughout the year that promote technical education such as student competitions, events, and summer camps.
