Overview

The Career and Success Training (CAST) program offers career development that reflects current trends in business.  Located close to ECC City Campus and conveniently accessible for private and public transportation, CAST offers a 16-week training program on state-of-the-art equipment.  This program is offered to Erie county residents and/or TANF recipients with a GED or high school diploma for the opportunity to acquire job specific skills followed by an internship and job placement assistance.  Curriculum choices include Health Careers Clerk, CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) and Customer Service Rep.

Additionally, life skills training in included for enhanced self-management.  Topics include human relations, communication, and job-readiness preparation.
