Summer High School Programs

2008 Non-Credit Remedial Summer Program offers a non-credit courses aligned with the New York State Education Departments requirements for high school graduation. Students elect to take these courses on the recommendation of their high school counselor or on their own, and upon completion; they may submit that course to their local school district and request that credit be granted. The cost of each course is $210. 2008 Summer College Experience for High School Students is a program that allows students entering their junior or senior year in Fall 2008 to register for credit bearing classes at ECC during the months of July and August. There are courses being offered in Health Sciences, Engineering, Computer Technology, and Design. This is a great opportunty to explore a future career and get a jump start on college. 2008 Summer Manufacturing Internship Program - Students who are graduating from high school in June 2008 and are interested in working in the manufactuing industry can apply for a 6 week paid internship during July and August. Students will be paid $9/hr and earn 3 free college credits.
