Training for the New Millennium

Mission:

To attract new businesses to Western New York and to maintain the current business infrastructure by providing excellence in workplace training.

The Workforce Development Department of Erie Community College focuses in upgrading and retraining Western New York's workforce to enhance competitiveness in the global marketplace. A corporation's investment in continuous learning and training strategically positions its workforce for growth.

The success of the Workforce Development Department has been attributed to partnerships with both regional and multinational corporations including General Motors Corporation, Ford Motor Company, Perry's Ice Cream, Dupont, and Motorola.

ECC extends its thanks to these companies who share the vision for personal enrichment and professional development of their Western New York employees.
