RECREATION LEADERSHIP

Program Competencies

Upon graduation with an Associate in Applied Science degree in Recreation Leadership, the student will be able to:

  • plan, organize, and conduct recreation activities based upon agencies population, ages, needs, and interests;
  • adapt leisure activities based upon the limitations imposed by illness and disability;
  • demonstrate professionalism; and
  • perform and teach a variety of recreation activities and skills.
