Mission Statement

The mission of the Radiation Therapy Program is to provide a comprehensive education, emphasizing excellence, by incorporating extensive didactic learning, professional courses and clinical experiences necessary to prepare students to become entry-level radiation therapists: to provide quality patient care, to be active participants in the profession and to pursue life-long learning.

Program Goals

Goal I To provide qualified students with comprehensive didactic and clinical experiences necessary to develop competent entry-level therapists
Goal II Provide the Medical Community with qualified therapists certified in radiation therapy
Goal III Students will develop ethical and moral practices, guided by values consistent with the profession’s Code of Ethics
Goal IV Students will demonstrate problem solving, critical thinking and communication skills for professional practice and life-long learning
