Kats lacrosse upends Finger Lakes
The Erie Community College women’s lacrosse team snapped an 11 game losing streak dating back to 2007 with a 12-8 win over Finger Lakes Community College (2-2) Friday afternoon at Jim Ball Stadium.

Erie never trailed in the game, which was stopped by officials with 21:13 remaining in the second half due to unplayable conditions because of heavy wind and freezing rain.

Freshman Laura Nerber led the way for the Kats with five goals and an assist. Freshman Kathryn Bacho had four goals. Freshman Jennie Cannata chipped in two goals and freshman Jessica Flowers had a goal and an assist.

Erie returns to action on Tuesday, April 7 when it visits Onondaga Community College.
