Erie Community College and InfoTech Niagara will be hosting an information technology symposium from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday, May 7, 2009 at ECC’s City Campus, 121 Ellicott St., Buffalo, NY.

High school students, parents, college students and information technology professionals are invited to explore new information technology educational and career opportunities, including: computer programming, digital forensics, geographic information systems, information systems security, management information systems, networking, Oracle database programming, web development and web page design.

Event highlights include:
• Panel discussion with local IT industry professionals
• Information regarding ECC’s Information Technology degree program
• Career and education trade show

Light snacks and refreshments will be provided and there will be entertainment by the Lancaster High School Carnival Kids Steel Orchestra. Free parking will be available.
