Cisco Networking Academy information session slated June 17
Erie Community College’s Telecommunications Technology department will be holding an information session for its Cisco Networking Academy from 6-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 17, 2009 in room 5112, Building 5, at the college’s South Campus, 4041 Southwestern Blvd., Orchard Park, NY.
Faculty will be available to answer questions and refreshments will be served.
The Cisco Networking Academy Program is a comprehensive four-course curriculum that trains students to design, build and maintain local and wide-area networks. They will be prepared for networking and IT related jobs in the public and private sectors, and to continue their education in telecommunications, engineering, computer science and related fields.
Classes are held one evening every other week. By completing all four courses, students will earn college credit and be prepared to take the Cisco Certified Network Associate exam.
