Erie Community College, State University of New York

Ten Erie Community College student-athletes were recently honored by Region III of the NJCAA for their academic performances.

All ten were named Academic All-Conference, led by swimmer Amanda Gonter (Holland/Holland) who finished with a 3.95 GPA and followed closely by Rebecca Hayes (Buffalo/Bennett) from the volleyball team with a 3.93.

Rounding out the rest of the award winners were: Ikyaator Msoo (Basketball - 3.82), Chris Norman (Baseball - 3.73), Dan Melidona (Bowling - 3.69), Jessica Mamon (Bowling - 3.68), Bradley Cash (Football - 3.66), Brad Gibson (Baseball - 3.65), James Wray (Soccer - 3.60), and Dan Safiejko (Soccer - 3.54).
