Fuquan Borum, Bradley Cash recognized by conference
Erie Community College’s Fuquan Borum (Syracuse/Corcoran High School) and Bradley Cash (Dayton, OH/Kettering Archbishop) were each named to the 2008-09 Northeast Football Conference’s All-Academic Team. To be selected, the student athlete must have accumulated a minimum of 36 credit hours with a 3.2 grade point average.

Borum, who graduated from Erie with a Physical Education studies degree, rushed for 170 yards on 48 carries as a running back for the Kats in 2008.

Cash, who received his degree in General Studies, was second in the league with nine sacks and tied for the top spot with 16 tackles-for-loss. He also was second on the team with 46 tackles.

Erie was one of only two schools (Alfred State) in the conference to have two players named to the Academic Team.
