Erie Community College to hold fall Open House October 28
Erie Community College will hold its fall Open House from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at all three campuses.
ECC’s City Campus is located at 121 Ellicott St., Buffalo; South Campus is located at 4041 Southwestern Blvd., Orchard Park and North Campus is located at 6205 Main St., Williamsville.
High school students, parents and adult learners are invited to explore ECC’s academic programs and athletic activities, experience student services and learn about transfer opportunities and exciting new careers.
ECC offers more than 70 degree and certificate programs, including programs that lead directly to careers in high-demand fields, such as nursing, CNC precision machining, construction management engineering technology and information technology.
ECC has also added four new certificate programs: biomanufacturing, computer security and investigations/digital forensics, emergency medical services provider and green building technology
College staff will be on hand to offer instant admission to ECC. Interested students are asked to bring their high school transcripts or GED scores. ECC will also hold financial aid information sessions at all campuses and placement testing will be offered at City Campus. Campus tours will be available and there will be refreshments, contests and prize giveaways.
