ECC Men’s and Women’s Soccer Players Named to All-Conference Team
Several members of the Erie Community College men’s and women’s soccer teams were recognized by the Western New York Athletic Conference on their respective All-Conference teams for their performances during the 2009 season.

Four members of the women’s team were recognized, including sophomore Laura Nerber, who was named to the league’s First Team. Nerber, who split time between forward and defense, finished the year with three goals and two assists.

Freshmen Suzanne Jacobs and Mariah Hoeber and sophomore Lauren Wzontek were named to the Second Team. Jacobs led the team in scoring with six goals and five assists. Hoeber finished the year with five goals and three assists and Wzontek netted two goals.

Three members of the men’s team received conference plaudits. Freshman Zein Abdulaziz was a First team selection. He finished the year with four goals and two assists. Erik Griener and Matt Meyer were named to the Second Team. Greinier tallied three goals and three assists and Meyer finished with three goals and an assist.
