Cross country teams finish fourth at regionals
The Erie Community College men's and women's cross country teams each brought home fourth place finishes from the NJCAA Region III championships hosted by SUNY Delhi.

The men were fourth out of seven complete teams. Delhi runners took five of the first seven places to give the Broncos the title. Sophomore Corey Peperro was Erie's top runner. He covered the 8,000-meter course in 29:48 to finish 10th out of 68 competitors. Sophomore Scott Dillon was 17th in 30:22 and freshman John Stark was 25th in 30:59.

Freshman Kateri Walsh earned All-Region honors on the women's side for the Kats after finishing fifth out of 53 runners. She finished the 5,000-meter course in 21:45. Sophomore Amanda Solley was 13th with a time of 22:50 and sophomore Gina Adornetto finished 23rd in a time of 23:38.

Erie will wrap up the 2009 campaign at the NJCAA Division III championships Saturday, November 7 hosted by Finger Lakes Community College.
