Parking

City Campus

At present, there is limited free student parking available at City Campus, coordinated through the college Facilities Office. There are also many commercial parking lots in the vicinity of the campus. The loading dock area is restricted to delivery and campus vehicles only. Violators are subject to being ticketed and/or towed. Handicapped spaces are designated on Swan Street on the south side of the building. These spaces are reserved for those vehicles with state or city disabled stickers. To obtain a permit, apply at Buffalo City Hall or through New York State.

North Campus

The North Campus has parking areas for students with permits (available in the security office). Students are responsible for knowing parking regulations (also available in the Security Office). The designated student parking areas listed may have reserved faculty, staff, and disabled parking zones within them. Students may park in Lots 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, and 11. Tickets issued for illegal parking are administered through the Town of Amherst.

South Campus

All vehicles operated by faculty, students, and staff must be registered with the Security Office. Special parking permits for disabled persons may be obtained from the Town Clerk, in the Town of Hamburg. Parking is allowed in Lots A-F only. Violators are subject to tickets by the Town of Hamburg police. Tickets issued for illegal parking are administered through the Town of Hamburg.

Students using any of these parking facilities must register their vehicle with the campus Security Office and must affix an identification decal to the left rear window of their automobile. Students should contact the campus Security Office for a list of parking regulations and a map of the campus, pinpointing the locations of parking facilities.

Disabled students who require special parking permits should contact the Office of Disabled Student Services.
