Roy Decibus - Men's Coach
Coach Decibus won his sixth NJCAA Coach of the Year Award in March 2007 when his team won the school’s 17th NJCAA National Title in Men’s Bowling.
Coach Decibus has also been privileged to have many All-Americans and professional bowlers come through the program during his tenure, most recently Joe Ciccone and Brad Angelo, both PBA Rookies of the Year.
After bowling for the team in 1990-1992, he came on as a coach and eventually the men’s head coach. Coach Decibus has an A.A.S. in General Studies and Recreation Leadership from ECC and a B.A. from UB in Psychology.
Tom Ruggerio - Women's Coach
Coach Ruggiero enters his ninth season as the Lady Kats head coach and has gained eight Coach of the Year awards during his tenure.
Assistant head coach T.J. Ruggiero is in his sixth year with the women’s program after one year with the men’s squad where he captured a national title. He was an All-American for the Kats in 1999 and 2000. He also captured the All-Events and singles titles at the NJCAA National Tournament in 2000.
Together Tom and TJ have led the Lady Kats to NJCAA tournament play nine times. The Lady Kats have captured six Region III titles as well as numerous doubles and singles awards.
Ken Duke - Administrative Coach
Ken is in his 15th season associated with the bowling program. He is a member of National Championships as both a player and coach. He is a four-time NJCAA Coach of the Year and a member of both the NJCAA Bowling Coach’s Hall of Fame and the Erie Community College Athletic Hall of Fame.
He presently serves as administrative coach who includes overseeing the bowling program as well as recruiting in the local high school ranks. Since 2000, Ken has been either Tournament Director or Co-director of the NJCAA National Tournament. Ken also serves as the NJCAA representative to the USBC Collegiate Advisory Committee.
