Lady Kats drop entertaining game to Mercyhurst NE
Mercyhurst NE- 21, Erie CC- 13

The Erie Lady Kats Lacrosse team dropped a 21-13 decision Thursday at Jim Ball Stadium to Mercyhurst Northeast in a very entertaining game.

Erie was led by Kaitlyn Johnson (Hamburg/Hamburg) with nine goals.  Katy Hlavaty (West Seneca/West Seneca East) also had two goals and two assists for Erie who fell to 0-5 on the season.

Danielle Hallaway (Amherst/Sweet Home) made 16 saves in net.

The team closes out their 2008 home season on Saturday April 19 when they entertain Jefferson Community College at 1 pm.
