Alex Nwora - Head Coach

In 2009-10, Head Coach Alex Nwora will enter his ninth full season as the Kats Head Coach. His record of 186-91 puts him second among the school’s coaches in wins behind only George Killian.

During his tenure, the team has won the Region III title three times, in 2001, 2004, and 2008. He was named Region III Coach of the Year in 2001and 2008 and District II Coach of the Year in 2001, 2004 and 2008.

This past summer, he was named the Head Coach of the Cape Verde National Team that participated in the LUSOFONIA tournament in Portugal, taking home the silver medal and the CAN09 tournament in Tripoli, Libya.

Coach Nwora previously served as an assistant coach at Medaille College from 1996-1999. He is also in the Hall of Fame at Daemen College where he was a top player.
