imageNatosha Cummings-Price - Head Coach

Turning a ship around is a daunting task and one that Natosha Cummings-Price has taken on with gusto.

Inheriting a program that hadn't had a winning season since the beginning of the decade or 10 wins since 2000-01, Cummings-Price guided the Kats to a 15-11 record in 2008-09 and has had 10-or-more wins in the last two seasons. Additionally, she has led the 2009-10 squad to the semifinal round of the Region III championships.

Cummings-Price played at the University at Buffalo from 1993 to 1995 and was the first African-American female to graduate from UB's NCAA Division I Program. She finished her career eighth in career three-pointers (71). Prior to UB, she played at Central Arizona Junior College where she was part of two teams that reached the NJCAA Final 8 and finished eighth in the country.

The Muskogee, Okla., native has both her bachelor's and master's degrees from UB and an associate's degree from Central Arizona Junior College.

An All-America basketball player during his days on the court, Brian Brown is now in his third season as an assistant coach for the Kats' women's basketball program. Brown, a second-team NJCAA All-America pick in 1988, graduated from ECC with a degree in general studies. Brown was named the Region III most valuable player in 1988 and was the ECC Athlete of the Year in 1988 as well as the basketball team's MVP after averaging 25.5 points and 12.2 rebounds per game that season.

He also played two seasons at Canisius College and graduated with a bachelor's degree in communications. Brown currently ranks ninth in single-season field goal percentage at Canisius with a mark of 53.5% (114-of-212) in the 1988-89 campaign. Brown was a selection to the 1985-86 All-Western New York boys basketball team, published by The Buffalo News.

Currently the athletics facility coordinator at the Burt Flickinger Center, Brown has also served as the women's basketball team's head coach one season and twice been the men's basketball head coach.
