Lady Kats defeat CCAC-South

The Erie Community College Lady Kats women’s basketball team defeated CCAC-South 100-17 on Sunday morning in a non-conference matchup.

The Lady Kats outscored CCAC 53-4 in the first half and shot a season-high 59.0% from the field.

Alexandra Hart led the team with 28 points on 12-21 shooting and chipped in eight assists. Shaneya Ferguson scored a career-high 27 points, including a 6-7 performance from behind the three-point arc. She also added nine rebounds and six assists,

Mercedezes Ephraim added 24 points and five steals.

Erie (3-1) is idle until they travel to Lakeland to take on the Lady Lakers in Ohio on September 18.
