Twenty-First Annual Scholarship Luncheon
The twenty-first annual scholarship luncheon was held in the Student Spring Center at Erie Community College North Campus on Friday, May 8, 2009. A delicious lunch was prepared and served by the students from the Hospitality Management Program for the recipients, their families and generous scholarship donors. Mary Beth Wrobel, Meteorologist, WIVB Channel 4 News was Mistress of Ceremonies at the presentation who also delighted the audience by singing The National Anthem. LaRusha Blakely, President of the ECC Student Government Association and an ECC City Campus Liberal Arts/General Studies student said the invocation.
Ellen Errigo, the Executive Director of theErie Community College Foundation recognized the Statler Foundation and scholarship donors for their generosity to Erie Community College.
Congratulations to our 85 scholarship recipients receiving a total of over $47,850. The Erie Community College Foundation awarded over $160,000 in scholarship money last year.
