Campus Ministry
Welcome to Campus Ministry, the interfaith program for the Erie Community College community. Campus Ministry includes North Campus's Campus Ministry Club, which is one of many Student Government Association (SGA) sponsored clubs. Soon, we hope to establish Campus Ministry Clubs at City and South Campuses, as well.
The Campus Ministry is dedicated to serving the students, staff, faculty, and administration of the college community in the spirit of interfaith and mutual respect.
Our purpose is to contribute to the fulfillment of the college mission by empowering individuals who seek to create rich and meaningful lives that integrate intellectual and spiritual growth. We respond to students who seek information regarding faith, spirituality, and prayer by offering them referrals to campus and local resources. Campus Ministry Club aims to support the spiritual growth and character and ethical development of students as they pursue their degree programs. It promotes fair treatment of religious groups and protects students from inappropriate religious persuasion.
Some of our goals include offering students and the ECC community the opportunity to meet regularly for prayer, discussion, and planning; pray for the intentions on our prayer list; participate in service projects on and off campus; and attend grief support (bereavement) events such as annual memorial services, 9/11 remembrances, and Veterans Day commemoration; and present National Day of Prayer programs.
Campus Ministry Club is open to any student of Erie Community College interested in religious beliefs, spirituality, or service. Each semester, please access, complete, save, print and sign the registration form. See the top of the form for submission options. No dues are required for membership. Please participate monthly either in person or electronically.
