Library Resource Center
The Library Resource Center on each campus is an information center providing students with access to a broad range of material and services to improve learning. The goal of the LRCs and their professional staff is to assist students in attaining their educational goals and in developing research skills. Across the three campuses, approximately 150,000 volumes and 700 periodical subscriptions are integrated with more than 16,000 videocassettes, slides, computer disks, CD-ROMs, and other audiovisual items accompanied by a variety of equipment and computers to facilitate the learning process. An online public access catalog contains the book and audiovisual holdings of the three campus libraries. The library home page provides access to SUNYConnect databases and the World Wide Web. The ECC library home page is http://elinks.ecc.edu/library/.
Other offerings include services for the disabled, photocopying, personal computers, study guides, and group study rooms.
The college archives are housed in the North Campus Library Resource Center.
In addition to the campus facilities, local and state library resources are available to students through the interlibrary loan network and the LRC’s membership in the Western New York Library Resources Council.
ECC students with a current ID card may borrow materials from Buffalo State College, SUNY at Buffalo, and other SUNY libraries.
