Counseling

The Counseling Center at Erie Community College helps to promote the academic, personal, and social growth of both current and prospective students. A sampling of services this office provides includes exam strategies, goal setting, notetaking skills, time management tips, and more. Any student may make an appointment with a counselor to discuss such concerns.

Transfer Counseling

Many students plan to further their education beyond their Associate’s degree. During their first semester at ECC, students should set up an appointment with the transfer counselor at ECC to learn about the various articulations and dual admission options that are available. Once a suitable four-year institution has been decided upon, students should:

  1. Complete an application with the transfer counselor at Erie Community College
  2. Have an official ECC transcript sent to the institution by the campus Registrar
