Child Abuse Recognition and Reporting - This three-hour course is designed to provide health care professionals, teachers, coaches, and other professional staff to recognize indicators of child abuse and maltreatment. Dental Hygiene Continuing Education-Local Anesthesia Certification - Erie Community College School of Dental Hygiene is pleased to offer Administration and Monitoring of Local Infiltration Anesthesia and Nitrous Oxide Analgesia for Dental Hygienists. A series of five continuing education course modules are available for individual CE credit. Successful completion of all five modules will satisfy Regulation 52.9 of the Regulations of the Commissioner of Education for New York State Limited Certification in Nitrous Oxide Sedation and Local Infiltration Anesthesia. The program will consist of 32 hours of lecture and 16 hours of hands-on clinical application under direct supervision of ECC Dental Faculty. HPOG Grant for Pharmacy Technicians - In partnership with the local Workforce Investment Board, ECC Workforce Development has received a Health Professional Opportunity Grant. This federal Health and Human Services grant provides funding to train eligible individuals as Pharmacy Technicians.
New York State Approved Infection Control Training - This three-hour course is designed to review various infectious diseases affecting the practitioner. A certificate of completion will be issued upon the completion of the course which meets the NYS DOH Infection Control Training. Call 851-1800 to obtain the latest schedule.
NY State Pre-Licensing Insurance - Individuals interested in becoming licensed must satisfy New York State's classroom requirement in advance of taking the State licensing exam. After successful completion of the course, students will receive a certificate of completion that will allow them to sit for the exam. The student must complete the mandatory class hours and receive a passing grade of 70% or higher on the final examination in order to receive a certificate of completion.

Online SAT and ACT Test Prep - High School students can take Online SAT and ACT Test Prep Courses for the national SAT College admissions test. Enroll online at www.wilsondailyprep.com/sign-up or phone 851-1800 and we'll complete the registration process for you.
Pharmacy and EKG Technician Training - Each course is 50 hours and will train you for a career in up and coming medical fields. A certificate of completion will be issued upon the successful conclusion of the course. Participants will be qualified to participate in national certification exams upon completion. Veterinary Assistant - This non-credit 100-hour training opportunity introduces students to the engaging and growing field of veterinary medicine. Students will learn how to care for animals, recognize signs of illness and disease, and perform administrative duties. Instruction includes both classroom lectures and labs. Visits to local veterinarian office locations are a part of the practical portion of this non-credit training. Tuition is $1899, which includes textbooks. Wedding Event and Planner Training - Receive 40 hours of classroom training at our City Campus. The cost of the course is $795, which includes a text book/manual provided by the Wedding Planner Institute, Wedding Planning Game, Certificate of Completion, and an opportunity to participate in planning a local wedding event. Withdrawal/Refund Policy: ECC will give a 100 percent refund with 24 hours notice. Non-attendance does not mean an automatic withdrawal; you must contact the Department of Workforce Development at 851-1800 to cancel your registration.
