Constitution Day

About This Event

Service Learning and the Student Government Association will host a Constitution Day celebration, 'Our Constitution through a Diverse Eye' on Monday, September 17, 2018 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.:

City Campus atrium

South Campus building 5, cafeteria

North Campus Spring Student Center, Student Lounge, room 125

The program will include a reading of the Preamble and essay presentations from the English as an Additional Language students to celebrate diversity and help create an inclusive atmosphere across all three SUNY Erie campuses. Refreshments will be served. 

Constitution Day is an American federal observance that recognizes the adoption of the United States Constitution. Each year, publicly funded educational institutions provide programming on the history of the Constitution, whether to focus on its role in citizenship or to explore how its lines allow for the freedoms we as Americans enjoy.

Open to all SUNY Erie students, faculty and staff.
