In addition to the Open Studios monthly lecture series, SUNY Erie is hosting Open Studios+ pop-up events starting SUNY Erie + BABEL, on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 from 12:15 to 1 p.m. in the South Campus library, building 5.

Talk: Joel Brenden: 'JBLC's Read , Seed, Write Project'

Art Blast:: Jessica DiPalma: 'Andy Goldsworthy: Land Artist and Environmentalist'

Discussion: Jackie Bossman and Philosophy students: ' American Wilderness Philosophy'
Later that day, join us in the South Campus library for a poetry workshop and seminar series including an open mic, from 5 to 7 p.m.. Focus: Mary Oliver's 'American Primitive' and Gary Snyder's 'Turtle Island.'

The presentation will be held in conjunction with Just Buffalo Literary Center's BABEL Series, which welcomes world famous authors to Buffalo, and In celebration of Terry Tempest Williams, 'The Hour of Land- A Personal Topography of America's National Parks' appearance on October 12, at 8 p.m. at Kleinhans Music Hall.
