Beginning her career as a dental hygienist with a degree from Erie Community College, Dr. Slawinowski went on to become a general dentist. Diane has participated in missions in RAM (Remote Area Medical) that serves impoverished, remote areas. For several years she has also taught dental hygiene at ECC.

Dr. Slawinowski began her career in dentistry as a dental hygienist, graduating from Erie Community College in 1990. She then earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The State University of New York at Buffalo in 2001.  While at SUNY at Buffalo, Dr. Slawinowski was honored with the Academy of General Dentistry Award, given to the senior student who has shown the greatest interest, knowledge, and proficiency in General Dentistry during her senior year. Dr. Slawinowski continued her studies and completed a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry and a Post Graduate Certificate in Esthetic Dentistry. She also taught Dental Hygiene at ECC for several years.

For two years, she has participated in five dental missions as a part of RAM’s (Remote Area Medical – a non-profit organization addressing the needless pain and suffering caused by the lack of health care in impoverished, underserved, remote areas) Stop the Suffering in Appalachia.

Truly devoted to her craft, Dr. Slawinowski loves creating new smiles for her patients and everything about general dentistry. She has dedicated her career in providing her patients with personalized and compassionate care. When she is not in the office or teaching, Dr. Slawinowski enjoys running, sewing, and spending time with her family.
