Emergency Aid

Life can present unexpected challenges that impact a student's ability to stay focused on their education. SUNY Erie is committed to supporting students through difficult circumstances by offering Emergency Funding for eligible students experiencing a financial crisis. Through support from the SUNY Erie Foundation and SUNY's Emergency Student Aid Program funded by the Gates Foundation, assistance may be available for non-tuition basic needs expenses, including temporary housing, utility emergencies, transportation needs, food insecurity, and other urgent health and safety-related costs. Students facing an unexpected hardship are encouraged to complete an application and connect with Student Affairs to explore available resources and support. Funding is limited and subject to eligibility requirements and available resources.
