Interfaith Spaces

SUNY Erie’s Interfaith Spaces are religiously neutral interfaith prayer and meditation spaces located at our North and City campuses.

Our Interfaith Spaces are open during regular hours (Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 4 PM), and provide a centrally located, private, and quiet environment for those who wish to participate in worship, prayer, and meditation while on SUNY Erie’s campus. We hope that this space might be a place of grounding and renewal. Should you need the space after hours, or if the door is locked, please contact campus safety ((716) 270-6600) for access.

For your convenience, the room is equipped with a shoe rack to store shoes and room divers; prayer mats; LED candles; a kneeler; a shelf to hold books and other materials; and chairs for resting. Intentionally designed with simple furnishings, this room is intended to be an inclusive and welcoming space for all members of the SUNY Erie Community. We ask that all individuals treat all faiths and practices with respect, regardless of personal beliefs. We ask that all users abide by the following guidelines to ensure mutual respect for the space.

Interfaith Spaces Are Located at:
